Event Details

Alice Sara Ott is one of the most celebrated and forward-thinking pianists of our era. A Deutsche Grammophon exclusive artist since 2008, signed at just nineteen years old, she has amassed more than half a billion album streams and is recognised worldwide for her distinctive artistic language, poetic technical command and visionary multimedia projects. She is currently Artist in Residence at Konzerthaus Berlin, following acclaimed residencies at London’s Southbank Centre, Paris’ Radio France and Utrecht’s TivoliVredenburg.

Her most recent recording, ‘John Field: Complete Nocturnes’ (2025), topped the Apple Music Classical chart for nine weeks and was named Apple Classical Album of the Year, as well as one of the best classical albums of the year by both The New York Times and The Boston Globe.

For her Amiata debut, Ott brings this same luminous Field-Beethoven programme to the Forum. Field’s Nocturnes, poetic twilight miniatures that quietly shaped the future of piano music, are paired with three Beethoven sonatas including the iconic ‘Moonlight Sonata’. In Ott’s hands, the programme traces a line from delicate, inward reverie to bold expressive architecture, illuminating two composers who fundamentally redefined what the piano could say.
