Misha Mullov-Abbado: ‘Amiata Jazz’ with The Misha Mullov-Abbado Group

An evening of vibrant jazz where London’s contemporary scene meets the warmth and lyricism of the Italian landscape.

Event Details
Bassist and composer Misha Mullov-Abbado brings his electrifying jazz sextet to Amiata Music in a programme drawn from his two acclaimed albums: ‘Effra’ (2025) and new material from ‘Moon Beams’ (2026).
Mullov-Abbado hails from an exceptionally creative family with two hugely influential musical parents, but Misha chose to forge his own path, graduating from Cambridge and the Royal Academy of Music before establishing himself at the forefront of the London jazz scene. That breadth of influences, from across the Italian and Russian traditions, alongside classical and improvisational influences, runs through his music, creating richly melodic works of great colour and creativity.
Set against the Tuscan landscape, this performance becomes a natural meeting point: London’s vibrant jazz scene, the European classical tradition, and the rich, lyrical sensibility often associated with Italian artistry. The result is a jazz-inflected evening that feels entirely at home in the Tuscan countryside: open, expressive and alive with colour.
